G to the izoogleYesterday, my editor sent me an e-mail with a link that simply stated "Pimped sixtycentmainevent" in the subject line.I followed the link, and I have been fascinated by Gizoogle ever since. (Warning ... this produces some foul language, so if you're easily offended, don't go there.) Reading my site after it's been Gizoogled is funny on a million levels. First, there's the sheer hilarity of some of the sentences. For instance, right now I have a "Limited edition Gangsta Bizzle XXXVI football signed by forma New England Patriots kicka Adam Vinatieri" available for trade. The other thing that's great about reading my site after it's been Gizoogled great is the juxtaposition of my whiteness with the text. Seriously, could I be any more white than I am in the picture at the top? That picture just doesn't mesh well with Gizoogled text. I spent the better part of an hour last night Gizoogling all my favorite blogs, and by far my favorite is "I'm not a 'manny'" which focuses on the life of a stay-at-home Dad. Gizoogle, however, translates DP's description of his blog this way: "Household hustla (stay at home dad), hopefully offer'n some light-hearted insight ta tha world of housizzle Mr. Mizzom, gangsta you W-to-tha-izzant ta call it." One of my favorite things about the site is that it's different every time you load it, so you never get the same version twice. Hours of entertainment. Anyway, enough writing ... I've got to get this posted so I can . |
